HISTORY OF THUNDER ON THE ISLAND

As much as Mark Blotz - (General Manager & Partner of the Clover Island Inn) would like to take full credit for the creation of the Thunder on the Island Summer Concert Series, HE WON'T !  .., but he did come up with the name!

During casual conversation with his former kitchen manager about the idea of holding concerts in the east end parking lot,  Mark liked the idea- ran with it, and Thunder on the Island was born!

Now entering it's 18th year, the Thunder on the Island & Summer Concert Series is self propelled!

The Thunder on the Island Free Summer concert series runs on Wednesday's throughout the summer from mid June through mid August- and features some of the most popular bands in the Pacific Northwest! 

The Wednesday concert series is ALWAYS FREE to the public and are family friendly! Mark wanted to expand on the Thunder on the Island concert series and starting booking headliner acts around the Wednesday concert series!

Through the years, Mark has brought some big names to the Clover Island Inn Stage!
